In this interactive audiovisual interpretation of Samuel Beckett's short play of the same name, the audience explores memory fragments of a vague female figure, personal objects imbued with emotion and clustered around in the installation space.

When taking their seat, one by one, in the rocking chair of Beckett’s fictional character, in an intimate chamber, in front of a wall, where parts of Beckett’s text are projected, they can only select one word, from which a soundscape will be generated in real-time.

In his first endeavor in the field of interactive installations, Emmanouel Rovithis decomposes a theatrical narrative into embodied fragments, and weaves a web between physicality and virtuality through sensors, multimedia, and scenographic elements.

The intense musicality also contributes to this harmonious mix (excellent musical composition and sound design by Emmanouel Rovithis) which "binds" with Aris Biniaris' directorial perspective and subsequently imbues the acting of his actors with rhythm in speech, breaths and their body."

"The intense music of Emmanouel Rovithis and the choreography of Evi Oikonomou move the stage in the steps of a Kafkaesque nightmare."
