On Seeing the 100% Perfect Girl for Me

On your way to work, you accidentally meet the 100% perfect girl for you. Will you talk to her? Will you stop her? Or will you let her go? But even if you catch up with her, is she really the 100% perfect girl for you? She’s not even your type, and yet from fifty meters away you know it, you feel it, she’s the one. No matter how logically we say to ourselves that the 100% perfect match is a utopia, no one ever stops hoping for it.

This is the first collaboration of Emmanouel Rovithis with director Georgia Mavragani; together they searched for the sound of a magical coin, the most special and intimate shiny coin falling from the sky, into layered urban textures of anonymity. Emmanouel included the actors’ voices at the end of his music piece, which proved to be the first seed of his later “Embodied Sound Dramaturgy” compositional approach.
